Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before we meet.

Please send us an email with a detailed description of your situation and your questions. Having reviewed the information, we will contact you to discuss possible solutions and, if necessary, arrange a consultation.

The consultation may take place in person at our office or remotely, whichever is more convenient for you. During it, we examine your situation in greater detail, assess the legal options and risks, and propose a possible course of action. After the consultation, you will have a clear understanding of the next steps and how our cooperation may develop.

Depending on the nature of the work, we offer three fee models: a fixed fee (where the scope is clear), an hourly rate (where the scope of work may change), or phased fees (for larger projects and transactions). We select the most suitable model together with the client before commencing work, so that costs are clear and predictable from the outset.

All information provided by clients is protected by legal professional privilege in accordance with the Law on Advocacy. Our internal processes and IT systems comply with industry security standards, and sensitive information is stored in an encrypted environment.

Before taking on each new matter, we conduct a structured conflict-of-interest check, taking into account all our current and former clients. If a conflict exists, or even appears possible, we inform the client openly.

This depends on the type of matter. A consultation usually takes a few days; transactions take from a few weeks to several months; first-instance litigation takes 9–18 months; and arbitration proceedings take 9–24 months. We discuss specific timeframes during the initial conversation.
